Preparation & Aftercare
Preparation
- A consultation with our Experienced Registered Nurse is required before having treatment
- Avoid alcohol and painkillers such as Ibuprofen before treatment as they tend to thin the blood and can make you prone to bruising
Aftercare
We recommend a complimentary follow-up appointment 2 weeks post-treatment to discuss your tailored treatment results.
- Avoid skin treatments that apply pressure or stress to the skin, such as microdermabrasion, skin needling, laser, peels, and facial massages
- Avoid alcohol and painkillers such as Ibuprofen after treatment as they tend to thin the blood and can make you prone to bruising
- Until fully healed, keep away from saunas, steam rooms, spas, ice baths, or hot yoga
- Refrain from massaging the treated areas unless discussed in your consultation
24 Hours post-treatment
- Remain upright for the first 4 hours post-treatment and avoid lying down while the product settles into place
- Avoid exercise and strenuous activity, and avoid any exercise that involves inverted poses (Yoga, Pilates barre etc)
48 Hours post-treatment
- Avoid vigorous exercise
5 days post-treatment
- Do not use active skincare products such as Retinol for at least five days after treatment

A lip flip lifts the top lip with a few units of Cosmetic Aestheics into the muscle around your mouth to pop your lip a little, showing a little more of the wet part of your lip.
This treatment last approximately 6-8 weeks with a subtle change to the lip, it can be added to any anti-wrinkle procedure.
Do Structure & Contour treatments cause skin to sag?
No. Your skin will return to its original state when the product metabolises.
Can I fly after my Structure & Contour treatment?
Avoid International travel 2 weeks after treatment, as the prolonged cabin pressure can cause unpredictable swelling and bruising.
Can I have Structure & Contour treatments dissolved at your clinic?
We do not dissolve Cosmetic Aestheticsr if you were treated outside of our clinic. We can dissolve Cosmetic Aesthetics if you received them at Aesthetic Laser and Skin Clinic; however, you must book a review with your cosmetic injector.
Are Structure & Contour treatments safe?

Cosmetic Aesthetics containing hyaluronic acid and collagen have a reduced risk of allergic reactions, as these substances occur naturally within our bodies.
