Skin Needling is a non-invasive clinical treatment, also known as (C.I.T) Collagen Induction Therapy that uses microscopic needles to penetrate the skin within the epidermis and dermis. What Ingredients Does Über Pro Peel Contain?
The ÜBER Pro is an anabolic chemical peel, with each ingredient providing a specific purpose to contribute to the desired outcome.
- Lactic Acid: A type of AHA that moisturises and exfoliates, improving skin moisture, texture, brightness, and reducing fine lines and pigmentation.

Preparation & Aftercare
Dermapen 4™ Skin Needling is not suitable for all skin types. A complimentary consultation prior to treatment is required to determine suitability. Our experienced therapist will tailor a preparation plan for your skin type and skin condition, to achieve optimum results from your Skin Needling treatment. It is important to follow any preparation instructions provided by our experienced therapists to ensure optimal results.
Preparation
2 weeks prior to treatment
- No Laser Hair Removal, waxing, depilatory creams, and IPL treatments on the face
- No Cosmetic Grade Peels
- No Cosmetic Injectables
- No sun exposure, always wear SPF 30+
- Fitzpatrick skin types IV and above (medium to dark skin tones or prone to hyperpigmentation), we recommend you prepare your skin with a melanin inhibitor such as the ASAP Super A+ Serum, Radiance Serum to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation after the treatment.
3 days prior to treatment
- Avoid AHA exfoliating products and Retin-A
- No blood thinning medication
- No fake tan present on the area (this may cause a tattooing effect)
- No hair colour or chemical treatments to the hair (for Hollywod Lift)
12-24 hours prior to treatment for Hollywood Lift
- Wash hair 12-24 hours prior to your treatment, hair must be clean, with no hair sprays, gels, or other hair products besides shampoo and conditioner.
PLEASE NOTE - Hair will be wet and have product in the scalp when leaving the clinic.
Aftercare
It is important to follow any aftercare instructions provided by our experienced therapists to ensure optimal results.
Do not pull or pick any loose skin after the treatment.
48 hours post-treatment
- Avoid excessive sun exposure, hot showers, and saunas, strenuous exercise. Within 3-4 hours any redness and irritation should subside.
- Avoid swimming, chlorinated pools and spas
5-7 days post-treatment
- Use correct ASAP™ aftercare products; Gentle Cleansing Gel, Super B Complex, DNA Renewal Treatment, ASAP Ultimate Hydration moisturiser or ASAP Advanced Hydration moisturiser, Hydrating Defence 50+ SPF.
- Avoid active ingredients and exfoliating products such as AHAs, Super C Serum, Super A+ Serum, Radiance Serum, Liquid Platinum, Hydrating Night Repair.
- No cosmetic injection treatments for 7 days
- No hair colour, perms, or chemical treatments to the hair

Will Dermapen 4™ Microneedling help with acne scarring and stretchmarks?
Yes. Dermapen 4™ is the only Microneedling device with a dedicated scar setting and protocols for revision of deep scars, including surgical scars, stretch marks, and post acne scars. Microneedling promotes collagen and elastin which builds the tissue within the scars, reducing the indentation of the stretch mark, scars, acne scarring and pigmentation of these scars.
Dermapen 4™ Microneedling can treat all areas of the body including the face, neck, back, breasts, decolletage, hips, stomach, and hands.
What will my skin look like after my treatment, will I require any downtime?
Individual response will vary. You may experience mild redness and warmth on the skin after treatment, this should subside within 3-4 hours, others may subside within 1-2 days post treatment. Mineral makeup may be used 24 hours post treatment. Our Experience therapist will tailor a post-treatment care plan for optimal results.
How many Microneedling treatments will I need and when will I see results?
Results can be seen after 1 treatment. For optimal results we recommend a minimum of 4 microneedling treatments, depending on the individuals skin condition and concerns. Scaring and stretchmarks may require a minimum of 6 treatments depending on depth and age of the scar. Treatments are preformed every 4-6 weeks. Microneedling treats various conditions, such as:

Using medical grade stainless steel, gamma sterilised needle cartridges, with medical grade silicon seal and fluid guard, to prevent cross contamination of the outer cartridge shell. All treatment consumables are single use and sterile, treatments are performed by a qualified therapist. Dermapen 4™ Mirconeedling treatment is not suitable for people who use certain acne medication or for women who are pregnant, breast feeding or trying to fall pregnant.
