Dermaplaning is a safe and painless, non-invasive cosmetic treatment designed to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hairs from your face with a specialised blade to gently exfoliate the top layers of the skin and peach fuzz, leaving your face brighter and smoother.
How Dermplaning works
Our experience therapist will safety and gently glide a surgical blade at 45 angle across the skin to exfoliate the skin surface and remove fine hairs. This treatment is suitable for all skin types, there is no downtime. For best results we recommend treatment every 3-4 weeks due to fine hair regrowing. This treatment can be paired with our Hydrojelly mask or Yellow LED Light Therapy treatment for a more rejuvenated and hydrating appearance.

- No Cosmetic Grade Peel skin treatments
- Avoid excess direct sun exposure
- Laser Hair Removal/IPL treatments on the face
- No depilatory use on face
- No waxing on the face
3 days prior to treatment
- Stop using active ingredients on the skin
- No Vitamin A or Retinol serums 3 days prior to treatment
Aftercare
Wear ASAP Hydrating Defence SPF 50+ daily and avoid unprotected UV sun exposure
1 week post-treatment
- No depilatory use on the face
- No Cosmetic Injectable treatments

How does Dermaplaning work?
Our skin is exposed to irritants, toxins and sun damage which causes a build up of dirt, oil and dead skin cells leaving our skin dull. Dermaplaning treatments gently removes the top layer of dead, damaged skin cells from the surface of the face to reveal a new, smooth, even glowing skin.
What should I feel?
Throughout the treatment you will feel slight pressure and a light scraping sensation of the blade.
Is there any downtime with Dermaplaning treatments?
Dermaplaning requires no downtime. You may experience slight redness after the treatment, however this usually subsides within 24 hours. We recommend the Rejuvenate Yellow LED Light Therapy after this treatment to reduce redness and provide anti-ageing benefits. Light mineral make-up can be applied directly after the treatment.
