Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical, safe, and gentle, Medi-facial treatment that provides advanced cleansing and exfoliation to remove dull, dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and gently polishes the skin using a diamond tip. Microplus+ sonophoresis
Sonophoresis transdermal infusion is a safe, gentle, extremely effective, and relaxing treatment that uses ultrasonic infusion that has been clinically proven to increase the depth and absorption rate of active ingredients by up to 800% into the deeper layers of the skin. This warm massaging treatment increases skin circulation and toning leaving the skin feeling smooth, firm, and hydrated. Suitable for all skin types.
HOW DOES MICROPLUS+ SONOPHORESIS WORK?
The skins natural waterproofing barrier can often impede the absorption of active ingredients. The oil/water bilayers in the stratum corneum acts as a defence barrier that serve to protect the lower layers of the dermis. Sonophoresis works by using ultrasonic technology to relax this natural barrier by opening up the intracellular pathways to allow the active ingredient to be absorbed.

Preparation & Aftercare
Microdermabrasion treatments are extremely safe and effective. Any redness, temporary flaking, or mild discolouration will disappear after your treatment and can be covered with a light layer of mineral makeup. Avoid exfoliating the treatment area for at least 5 days after the treatment, do not pick or pull any loose skin.
To enhance your results, use the ASAP Gentle Cleansing Gel to soften, purify and hydrate your skin. ASAP B Complex Serum, ASAP Hydrating Defence 50+ SPF sunscreen to be applied daily as aftercare to protect the skin as the outermost layer of dead skin cells have been removed.

What is the downtime for ASAP Microplus+ Microdermabrasion & Sonophoresis treatments?
There is no downtime for this treatment. You may experience slight redness after the treatment however this usually subsides within 24 hours. We recommend the Rejuvenate Yellow LED Light Therapy after this treatment to reduce the redness and provide anti-ageing benefits. Light mineral make-up can be applied directly after the treatment.
